Why the name is Xander, and where the art comes from.

Back in the early days of the web, think 1990’s kidwithacrayon.com artist Graham R. made me a business card. We were in our twenties. He drew a worker, a gear,a constellation of marks — and the lettering ‘Xander’ with one letter flipped, in what I would call a constructivist style. Sander/Xander is a name from growing up in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia that my family called me. I’ve carried this Adobe Illustrator file with me for thirty years. This site is built from its DNA.
